About a week ago my wife (who is a registered nurse) drove up to a bad accident. I can't tell the story as good as WHNT News Channel 19 so I won't try.--There is a video at the beginning of the article and one at the end. All I can say is I am very proud of my wife! (and she has better camera presence than me) -- Mystery Nurse Steps Forward After Saving Strangers Life
Sharing at Summit. Last Sunday we shared at Summit Crossing Community Church (where we are members). During both services we went on stage and Stephanie gave a short introduction about our family and what we will be doing with Mercy Ships. They prayed over us. And after the service we invited people to get involved. We had a great time sharing how Mercy Ships gives life changing surgeries and shares the Gospel! -- [We are very proud of our boys Tytus 6 & Ezra 4 for not embarrassing us and being well behaved!]
We can't say it enough...Thank you for those partnering with us! But more than that we want you to serve with us! There are short term as well as long term positions with Mercy Ships. Come. Work along side us and experience the impact of your partnership!
Adventures in fundraising. This week many people said to me "Now that you have been on TV you are bringing in the money right?!"...No, not from those sources. BUT we are thankful for every opportunity to share! -- Anonymous gifts, monthly partners, and surprise gifts of cash have been AWESOME! And some of the promised giving started in January as well.Thank you so much for all that gave! Monthly recurring giving helps us the most with keeping a budget. -- Budget Link
